When we run out of delicious sweet ideas for after school time for the kids and want something relatively quick and not packed to the brim with sugar – this recipe comes to the rescue! Bonus: it doesn’t need any cooking either and the kids will absolutely love it!
You can use any choice of dried fruit and nuts – you can have lots of fun mixing things up, making your own mad, delicious creations!
Ingredients and How-To:
- Spread 2 cups of Greek Yogurt on flat baking sheet that has been lined with baking paper or a silicon mat (this tray needs to fit in your freezer, so test it out first!).
- Scatter the yogurt with a couple tablespoons of dried fruit such as dried sour cherries, cranberries and diced apricot and some toasted almonds and pistachios.
- Freeze until firm (give it an hour depending on the capacity of your freezer).
- Break up into pieces and consume.

Do you need to keep it frozen after it’s broken into pieces?
Hi Caroline, we recommend breaking it up then popping the pieces in a freezer bag and keeping in the freezer. Let us know how it goes!
